The handling is about 4 minutes from Volterra, in a panoramic position in the middle of an estate of 9 hectares of forests and meadows. The nice and hospitable owners will be waiting for you together with the 6 horses and the donkey Pinocchio (mascot of the riding center). The horses are sweet and calm and anyone can mount them, even children.
Hiking holiday weekend package costs Euro 235 per person : 2 nights stay in an apartment located just beside the corral (
whatch the photos). The package is including cost of the stay + breakfast + lunch + horseback trekking , dinner:
- First day: arrival at the riding center, accommodation in the apartment, one hour horse trekking on the hills - woods - ford.
- Second day: one hour and thirty minutes of horse hiking, trail through the woods on an old Roman road and visit the Etruscan tombs. Dinner at the riding center with a fish menu (mussels, antipasto, spaghetti with clams, grilled sea bream, salad, water, wine and coffee).
- Third day: three hours of horseback hiking. Beautiful and easy route: climb from an altitude from 150 to 450 m above sea level on the trail of wild animals. Stop 30 minutes in an ancient village. Quick snack.
